Project Background

In August 2022, the Silk Road Business School (SRBS), a think tank institution, joined hands with the "Belt and Road" Vocational Education Alliance (BRVEA) approved by the Ministry of Education of China, and PROPEDIA, the first and second largest vocational education group in France (IGS Group and C&D Education Group School Laboratory Network, focusing on skills and development) and the Geneva International School of Management (IMSG) in Switzerland, jointly launched the "SRVE-International Standard Certification", with the purpose of "Chinese + vocational education" docking "European vocational education system", In the world, the first international standard certification of vocational education with "Chinese teaching" as an important evaluation latitude has been established. SRVE not only establishes an international horizontal reference for Sino-foreign university cooperation and school-enterprise cooperation, but also establishes a longitudinal coordinate that connects the upper and lower levels of vocational education. From vocational high school (technical secondary school), vocational college, vocational bachelor's degree, vocational master's degree into a continuous system of certification standards, and with the French RNCP vocational qualification certificate system to match and standardize. At present, SRVE certification has attracted the participation of more than 200 vocational schools, universities and business institutions in China, Europe and Africa.

Since its inception, SRVE has partnered with the Campus des Métiers et des Qualifications, the French Education Agency, and the CFA Academique du Limousin We have developed a "Modular Design and Assessment Curriculum for Sino-European Vocational Education" to address the problem of the interoperability between Chinese and foreign countries and between schools and enterprises, and has organized Chinese vocational colleges to start training teachers. In the future, Chinese universities will cooperate with African universities to carry out academic and non-academic training. In particular, it helps Chinese companies train local employees in Africa. Mr. Monsieur Guillaume Guérin, President of the Limoges Region, is very much in favour of this multinational cooperation on vocational training between Africa, China and Europe.

Mr. Monsieur Bakary ISSA TCHIROMA, Minister of Employment and Vocational Training of Cameroon, Africa, Mr. Oscuuma Dehediam, Director General of the National Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Democratic Republic of the Congo to the European Union and President of the Association of International Business of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, November 2022 Monsieur Eusebe GUMA-DEREDYAM participated in the first SRVE Exchange and Cooperation Conference to discuss international standards for school-enterprise integration and vocational training. The meeting achieved fruitful results, in particular, it was clarified that under the framework of the SRVE International Vocational Education Standards, Africa, Mechanisms and methods of interconnection between the tripartite vocational education systems of China and Europe.

Purpose of the training

The "SRVE-International Vocational Teacher Qualifications" training program aims to promote the interconnection between SRVE-International Standard Certification and the European RNCP certification system, effectively improve the international influence and reputation of Chinese vocational colleges, and cultivate a group of high-quality international vocational teachers for Chinese universities. It has successively provided a complete systematic training service program for "senior management talents" and "vocational and skilled talents" based on Chinese teaching for the government and social organizations of African countries such as the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Cameroon, Central African Republic, Chad, Mali, Côte d'Ivoire, Guinea, Sierra Leone, Senegal, Benin, Gabon and other African countries.

Training format

The whole process is conducted online by ZOOM/Tencent Meeting, and teaching practice is carried out through expert lectures, group activities, seminars, case studies and other forms. Includes rich interactive and practice sessions, as well as personalized feedback for students after class.

Content and Teaching Objectives

Based on SRVE-International Standards for Vocational Education, SRVE-International Organization for Standardization and the Campus des Métiers et des Qualifications, CFA Academique du Limousin, France Jointly developed a series of courses on "Chinese + Vocational Education Skills Module Teaching Methods Based on European Vocational Education Standards".

Phase 1 Course Training: Course Learning and Training (Remote)

1. At this stage, SRVE and the Limoges Education Agency of France will organize teachers to carry out the construction of vocational skills modules and the evaluation of vocational skills modules.
2. Teach to Chinese teachers. The course is completed by distance (or going to France) training with "French teaching + Chinese teaching assistant". The training includes

 How to design the vocational skills module of the
specialty  How to integrate the vocational skills module with relevant industry standards in your country
 How to design the professional skills assessment criteria for the profession
 Illustrate an example of a professional course (with tourism management as a detailed case) based on a practical case.

The objectives of the first phase of teaching are all vocational school teachers who participate in the course and training

 Master the basic skills and techniques of vocational skills module design and assessment.
 The existing majors of the university can be designed and transformed into vocational skills modularly.
 Match the skills module courses with the skills needs of the enterprise in combination with the major.
 Meet the implementation of modular teaching and assessment of skills for the skills needs of enterprises.
• All knowledge and analysis of Africa's educational needs.

Stage 2 Teaching Practice: Teaching and Assessment of Professional Courses (Remote/Offline)

1. After completing the first stage of training, the Chinese teacher will prepare the course of the major + complete the translation of the relevant courseware.
2. In the second stage, each institution can choose an African institution in the SRVE-International Organization for Standardization platform to carry out external teaching practice; Or, the internal teaching practice of "optimizing and improving related majors" is carried out within each institution. The external teaching practice will be carried out by SRVE in cooperation with the State Administration for Industry and Commerce of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, and the State Administration for Industry and Commerce of the Democratic Republic of the Congo will recommend apprenticeship students recommended by vocational colleges and enterprises in the country; Participate in training courses on professional skills modules provided by teachers from trained Chinese vocational colleges, as well as post-learning assessments of vocational skills modules by relevant teachers.
3. At this stage, the employees of African enterprises will be trained and assessed in vocational skills modules in the form of remote (or "French + online courses" in Africa. Or, offline + Chinese method, optimize and improve the vocational skills module training and vocational skills assessment of related majors within the institution.

Objectives of the second stage: All vocational school teachers who participate in the curriculum and training

 Be able to apply the modular teaching methods of vocational skills learned to practical teaching
 Enable students to acquire relevant module skills through the course
 Be able to get the acceptance of the relevant skills modules by the host companies
 Enables students who pass the skills module assessment to obtain relevant certificates and

Phase 1: Awarded to the Chinese teachers who participated in the training program
1. Training Certificate from the National Centre for Apprenticeship Education/Vocational and Qualifications Assessment Agency, Limoges Education Agency, Ministry of Education, France.
2. SRVE - International Organization for Standardization and Accreditation of International Vocational Teacher Training Certificate.

Phase 2: Awarded to African trainees at all institutions
1. Obtained SRVE-International Organization for Standardization Certification Level 5 Vocational Qualification Certificate.
2. Obtain the corresponding professional non-academic training certificate of each institution.
